After a successful couple of visits (much appreciated by the volunteers there), we shall be returning once again to the lovingly maintained Community Garden at Wild Green E13, a grassroots community group transforming Upperton Road West Park into a thriving, sustainable urban garden 🌿, to help our friendly host Fleur.

Founded in 2019, Wild Green E13 is all about bringing people together—creating a welcoming space where the local community can connect, learn new skills, and experience nature and wildlife right in the heart of the city. Their garden isn’t just a green space—it’s a hub for positive change, biodiversity, and community spirit.
They’re a small but dedicated team, and this is where we come in.
We’ll be rolling up our sleeves to help:
Weed borders, beds, and planters to help plants thrive
Carry out general garden maintenance to keep things looking great

How to join
There are two ways to join:
Option 1 – Run from the Freaks & Geeks (sign-up above - bag drop available)
We’ll meet at 18:30 and leave shortly after with a gentle jog of about 3km to the task. We always have a backmarker and no one is left behind.
Option 2 – Meet at the task
