Join us for a rewarding conservation mission with Bee Friendly Warwick
For this session we will be lending a hand to Sara & her team of volunteers removing thistles, strimming & raking the meadow to prepare for sowing wildflower seeds.
This work will help create a beautiful wildflower meadow, providing vital habitat and food for bees, butterflies and other pollinators while improving local biodiversity.
What to bring
Sturdy footwear (the ground may be uneven or muddy)
Long sleeves and trousers recommended
Gardening gloves if you have them (some spares may be available)
A drink to keep hydrated
Come along, enjoy some fresh air, meet fellow GoodGymers, and help transform this area into a haven for wildlife. Every pair of hands will make a difference!
Let's pull together to help nature bloom! πΈπ
NB: This is on an allotment and there are no toilet facilities
Free parking is available at the entrance gates to the allotments.
Sara, the event organiser has promised some vegan snacks and some water, and maybe some pizza.
