Fungi Hike

September is National Mushroom Month, and the Greenbelt is a fantastic place to take a leisurely-paced hike in search of mushrooms and other fungi. From amanita and boletes to slime molds and turkey tail, we could potentially spot a wide variety of fungi. We will also see spore prints of mushrooms from the day prior.Additional instructions for participants :meet at flagpole, bring long pants long socks and hiking boots that you are willing to get muddy.
