Meet artist Robert Moser for a conversation on the exhibition In the Paradise of Painting. Or: On Growth and Refinement, on view at DIE KUNSTSCHAFFENDEN. As high-performance computers increasingly assess human beings by their “market value”, art remains a space for growth and refinement. At its most authentic, it preserves what makes us human. In this light, hand-painted works become an act of resistance.
The artist will share insights into his practice and reflect on painting as a space for human experience, refinement and resistance in the age of algorithmic systems.
DIE KUNSTSCHAFFENDEN is an association of artists who develop exhibitions and projects. The network explores various disciplines of contemporary art and makes them accessible to the public. The gallery occupies a prominent location in the center of Linz, embedded in the OÖ Kulturquartier. Developments in contemporary art are presented to the public in an exhibition program that changes monthly.
