Is soil alive? Investigating this seemingly simple question, this workshop will enable participants to discover life in the dark ground below. Evolving from scientists who experimentally search for signs of life in soil, participants will embody various forms of soiled life and artistically express their present and immanent reality. Bridging these worlds, the workshop will provide scientific and creative materials so that the complex relevance of soil can be encountered from individual angles.
