Forest Rec Junior parkrun takes place every Sunday morning, providing a free, fun, and friendly 2k event for 4 to 14 year olds. They need a team of willing volunteers each week to help with jobs from marshalling the route (cheering on the runners), to helping to give out finish tokens and more.
No experience necessary and there are always people on hand if you have any questions.
**Where is Junior parkrun?**
Forest Rec Junior parkrun takes place at the Forest Recreation Ground, right in front of the Homemade Café (great for a beverage or snack afterwards!). Volunteers are needed from 8.30am until about 10am at the latest.
**How to get involved**
1. Check out the [volunteer roster]( https://www.parkrun.org.uk/forestrec-juniors/futureroster/) to see what roles are available in future weeks
2. Email forestrecjuniors@parkrun.com to put your name down. You’ll need to provide your parkrun barcode number (register for parkrun here if you haven’t already done so)
3. Sign up on this GoodGym event page so we know you're helping out (if you get any photos from the event, i.e. on their Facebook page, send them over so we can add them to a GoodGym report).
