The Ars Electronica Features Exhibition is a platform for partner institutions from around the world to present artistic perspectives and research-based practices that resonate with the festival’s curatorial theme. In 2026, under the title NEGOTIATING HUMANITY – FUTURE BEGINS, 16 partners explore what it means to act, decide and make meaning at a moment when the boundaries between human intention, algorithmic process and biological life have become truly difficult to locate.
Rather than illustrating the theme, the contributions negotiate it. Six threads run through their work, crossing and entangling in ways that resist neat categorization.

Cost: The features exhibition is primarily located in the Francisco Carolinum, supplemented by stations along the FESTIVAL WALK as well as in the Ars Electronica Center and DH5.
