This book presentation and panel brings together Claudia Hart, Andrew Blanton and Anika Meier for a conversation, moderated by curator Julia Staudach, on Hart’s artistic practice and her first museum retrospective. Taking the exhibition Patterns and Politics and the publication as its point of departure, the panel traces Hart’s perspective on technology, visual culture and power, connecting her decades of work with virtual image-making to current debates on AI art.
