The Heaton Park volunteers and maintenance group, along with the staff at the animal centre, have asked for some GoodGym painting!
We'll be painting the pathway at the centre, likely with different coloured paw prints, to spruce up the area before the bank holiday weekend.
**We'll meet at the Animal Centre inside Heaton Park (M25 2SW) What3words: ///orbit.hope.lush** There are regular buses and Metrolinks going to the park from the city centre. For those who want a run, I'll be running from the city centre or we can arrange a jog around the park after the task.
Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. Tools and equipment will be provided.
**About GoodGym**
We're a friendly and social group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every week to get active and do a physical task to help the charities and community organisations and projects across the Manchester region.
**The Run/Walk/Cycle**
GoodGym is for everyone. We welcome runners of all abilities. We always have a back-marker so no-one is left behind - we're about achieving something together so you'll always be welcome no matter what your pace is.
Dress appropriately for outdoor conditions.
