Pianist Iiro Rantala and actress Lotta Kuusisto’s ‘annual rings’ are flexible stories about the cycle of life.
They are powerfully spiral stories about being human, interpretations of where we belong and how we do not belong. Wishes about not everything being vague and varying, and about being like a juniper; with no tendency to split or twist.
The annual rings created by the artist duo Rantala-Kuusisto are formed from the heartwood of the music and the light of the texts.
