Global Club Nights is a series of club events where people who work in the music industry and those who love music come together to celebrate music.
At Kanneltalo, these club events are held on two evenings in autumn 2026. The first club night on 2 October features Humphrey Mubba and Trio Mandeng on the stage. The second club night will take place on World Children's Day, 20 November.
The free club nights start early, which means children are also welcome when accompanied by an adult. In addition to captivating music, the club nights also provide other fun activities that are suitable for children. Let us kick off the weekend together!
Humphrey Mubba is a Tanzanian jazz bassist, composer and teacher who lives in Finland. His parents are originally from the Kilimanjaro region of Tanzania, where he grew up in a multicultural family. His music combines deep African roots with international jazz influences. In the resulting sound, Tanzanian and African rhythms blend with the freedom of jazz improvisation, creating energetic, movement-inspiring music in which dance and music are inseparable.
Influenced by artists such as Richard Bona, Etienne Mbappé and Hugh Masekela, Mubba has toured internationally and performed at festivals such as Sauti za Busara and the BC International Jazz Festival. His debut album, Time , is available on all the major streaming services.
