As part of this laboratory for digital practice, the media façade of the Ars Electronica Center becomes an experimental field for a young generation of media artists. Under the artistic direction of Dawid Liftinger and Karin Balkenhol, six independent works for the iconic façade were created at the Walter-Lübcke-Schule in Wolfhagen, Germany.

The starting point is the building itself as an urban stage—a place where digital images do not just become visible, but actively shape public space. Eleven students in grades 11 and 12 explored the creative and technical possibilities of large-scale media architecture, translating their ideas into custom-programmed compositions of light and image. The resulting works move fluidly between animation, abstract visualization and experimental storytelling. The project brought together artistic research and digital practice, giving participants the chance to present their work in an internationally renowned context.
