What if Deep Space could do more than simply display content—what if it could perceive what is happening within it and respond? In Agentic Systems in Immersive Spaces, an AI-based agent system becomes a partner to both guide and audience. As the guide tells stories, provides context, and leads visitors through projects by Ars Electronica Solutions, the agent responds to questions and situations, retrieves content, and makes unexpected connections. The presentation thus becomes a dialogue between people, artificial intelligence, and space—one that can unfold differently every time.
At its core is a larger vision: spaces that are no longer merely backdrops or technical infrastructure but actively shape what happens within them. Agentic Systems in Immersive Spaces offers a glimpse into immersive environments whose soul is still created by people and stories—but which can now also perceive, respond, and enable new forms of encounter.
