At the beginning of Minute Paintings / Pictures of an Exhibition, users encounter seven blank, framed canvases presented in the Petersburg style on the wall, which they can paint one after the other using various techniques. These techniques are inspired by the works of different artists. Users can create two painted versions of each canvas and then choose the more interesting one. The finished exhibition can be saved, and users can also view the most recently created exhibitions in a slideshow. Minute Paintings / Pictures of an Exhibition is the latest work in Gerhard Funk’s “Cooperative Aesthetics” series.
