The performance presents an exclusive excerpt from Worship, a new contemporary dance work by Drew Jacoby with the 16 dancers of TANZ LINZ. Exploring ritual, devotion and collective experience beyond religion, it draws on archetypal figures and the idea of the “Divine Feminine”. In the unique setting of St. Mary’s Cathedral, movement, sound and architecture merge into an immersive experience, offering a first glimpse of the upcoming world premiere Divine Matter.
