Public Lecture by Dr. Luca Placci on the Italian Influences and Connections of Alvar, Aino and Elissa Aalto, and on Aalto's Architecture as UNESCO World Heritage. Placci will lecture in Jyväskylä, Muurame and Säynätsalo on 7-8 September 2026.
The event is part of the 60th anniversary programme of the Alvar Aalto Society, as well as the programmes of the Summer University of Jyväskylä and the University of Jyväskylä. The lectures are organized in cooperation with the Alvar Aalto Foundation, Tavolo Bianco / Säynätsalo Town Hall, the Parish of Muurame, and the Municipality of Muurame.
Admission to all events is free of charge.
