Westival transforms Westport for Samhain with a spectacular celebration of music, fire, performance and visual art, created in collaboration with internationally renowned outdoor arts company LUXE. At its heart is a spectacular procession through the streets of Westport, bringing the ancient spirit of Samhain to life through fire, music, masks, performance and immersive visual spectacle. As the procession moves through the town, Westport becomes a stage for a bold contemporary interpretation of Ireland’s ancient Halloween traditions. Combining large scale outdoor performance, live music, visual art and community participation, Westival offers visitors a unique and unforgettable experience during the Halloween period.
