Performed by Ensemble BOW at the Auditorium Sacré-Cœur in Geneva, this programme invites audiences of all ages to rediscover the unforgettable atmosphere of the famous Harry Potter films through their most iconic musical themes, bringing to life the emotion, adventure and magic of the story.
The film’s soundtrack was masterfully composed by John Williams. The composer wrote the music in Los Angeles and at Tanglewood, before it was recorded at Abbey Road and Air Lyndhurst studios in London in September 2001.
The film features many characteristic leitmotifs, most of which returned in the second part of the franchise, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. The main composition, Hedwig’s Theme, appears in modified form throughout all the films. The soundtrack was released on CD on 30 October 2001.
On 14 December 2001, the soundtrack was certified gold in Canada, with 50,000 units sold, and in January 2002 in Japan, with 100,000 units sold. Britten, ever the teacher, decided to introduce the instruments of the orchestra and their families in a series of variations on a theme composed by Henry Purcell. _The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra_ serves as a veritable illustrated dictionary of an orchestra’s instruments.
With _The Wand of Youth_, Elgar dug out, late in his career, a series of pieces he had written as a child. He brilliantly orchestrated them into two suites, which plunge us into a world populated by bears, butterflies, giants, and fairies!

Together with his longtime musical collaborator, gospel singer and musician Sophie Noir (The Moonraisers, Glo’Gospel, Jérémie Kisling, etc.), they formed a unique trio during a residency at the Cully Jazz Festival in 2017. From the very beginning, the group has been rounded out by their friend, drummer and sound engineer Claude Kamber, who regularly hands over his spot at concerts to drummer Alberto Malo (Jacques Higelin, Tété, Sophie Hunger, Erik Truffaz, etc.).
It’s a trio featuring two lead voices, in which the instruments and melodies interplay and echo one another—and these two voices blend in a rare alchemy, as Sophie and Simon have been performing together on stage and in various projects for nearly 30 years…
Their music is by turns minimalist, poignant, intense, and electric. They draw from a repertoire of original songs in French and English, as well as lesser-known duets from the American soul and rhythm and blues canon.
In 2018, the trio released their first EP (5 tracks), "Move On." For this EP, the three musicians from the Jura region did everything themselves—it was truly a DIY project. In 2020, after playing dozens more shows across the country, they released their first album, titled “Bikini Test Sessions.” These 12 songs were recorded live from start to finish, without any additions or artificial effects, in front of a small audience of friends at the legendary club in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
In May 2025, they released their third album, "Partout Partout." This time, they teamed up with a couple of guest musicians to produce an album that reflects their styl...

Founded in 2012 in Carouge, the Woman's Move collective is co-directed by choreographers Elsa Couvreur and Iona D’Annunzio. Since 2024, choreographer Iona D’Annunzio has been creating contemporary dance works for young audiences that blend dance and object theater.

**Several short stories and a parade feature in this theatrical journey by Zanco – perfect for the whole family to enjoy!**
Zuza is a fearless little girl. She flies after her meal, and when she gets angry, she grows bigger than the planet. Fortunately, there’s the crocodile, her sidekick. And her little sister, and lots of friends.
Zanco’s new show is a theatrical journey into childhood — joyful, full of emotion and imagination. Inspired by Anaïs Vaugelade’s children’s book, it follows the adventures of a little girl whose everyday life intertwines with the richness of her inner world, told from the child’s perspective.
The show is a travelling production: the audience moves around to change the setting, and each story features a unique format — masked dance, theatre, giant puppets, life-size puppets or miniatures.
As a bonus, there’s sometimes a ‘lambe lambe’: a tiny 3-minute box theatre performance to be enjoyed as a couple.
Zanco is celebrating 20 years of travelling theatre! Since 2006, the company has been creating an original theatrical world in public spaces and transforming the urban landscape into a fictional realm.

**Twenty Years of Theatre in Public Spaces.**
Zanco's anniversary show is a stroll through the present and through memory. Papier-mâché ghosts, Alice's voices, Borges's labyrinths, bears, and monsters still dance in the streets and parks.
It's not a retrospective, but a journey.
Created especially for this anniversary, the 20th Anniversary Show offers a theatrical promenade in the Parc des Franchises on Friday and in Châtelaine on Saturday, the company's home base. The performance revisits five of the company's major works — _Murmure la rumeur_ (_Whisper the Rumor_), _À travers le miroir_ (_Through the Mirror_), _Borges Variations_, _Wild Things_, and _Miedka_ — updating their characters to place them in the current context of democratic crisis, manipulation of fears, and social fragmentation. The common thread is language as a tool of power and resistance, of shifting perspectives and dreams. The audience is invited to walk, transforming the stroll into an act of presence and reflection.
Conceived as an immersive journey, the performance invites the audience to walk from one scene to the next. Each stage reactivates an artistic memory while reinterpreting it in light of the contemporary world.

The performance revisits five of the company's major works — _Murmure la rumeur_ (_Whisper the Rumor_), _À travers le miroir_ (_Through the Mirror_), _Borges Variations_, _Wild Things_, and _Miedka_ — updating their characters to place them in the current context of democratic crisis, manipulation of fears, and social fragmentation. The common thread is language as a tool of power and resistance, of shifting perspectives and dreams. The audience is invited to walk, transforming the stroll into an act of presence and reflection.
Conceived as an immersive journey, the performance invites the audience to walk from one scene to the next. Each stage reactivates an artistic memory while reinterpreting it in light of the contemporary world.

Im Juli 1944 startete die deutsche Armee eine Offensive, um das vom Widerstand kontrollierte Vercors-Massiv zurückzuerobern. Der Angriff verlief äußerst brutal, und die Besatzungstruppen begingen zahlreiche Gräueltaten.
Im Herbst begaben sich einige Schweizer Persönlichkeiten, darunter Albert Béguin, Paul Du Bochet und Lucien Tronchet, vor Ort, um die von der Wehrmacht begangenen Verbrechen zu dokumentieren und Mittel zur Unterstützung der Opfer zu sammeln. Sie veröffentlichten „Le Livre noir du Vercors“ , dessen Verkaufserlöse zur Finanzierung der Arbeit des „Don suisse“ beitragen.

In the middle of the ice rink, the **Orchestre de Chambre de Genève** performs a virtuosic selection of minimalist music. Built on looping patterns, these cyclical motifs draw you into a hypnotic whirl. The pulse of this exhilarating score is also driven by Canadian dancer and skater **Stephen Thompson**, whose choreographic momentum spins in constant motion. Armed with modular synths and custom-built machines, **YMNK** steps into the loop to inject a fiercely danceable electronic edge. Going round in circles has never felt so electrifying.

Major figures in slapstick cinema of the 1920s and 1930s, Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy left their mark on the history of cinema with their precision acting, sense of rhythm, and exceptionally effective comic timing.
On screen, a selection of restored short films will allow audiences to rediscover the finesse of their art. Accompanying the films, the orchestra will perform a symphonic score specially composed for them, reviving the tradition of musical screenings that, in the era of silent cinema, created a dialogue between images and music in a shared collective experience.

Founded arout Staphane Péclard's compositions and Influenced by bands such as Led Zeppelin, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lenny Kravitz, Nirvana, and Rage Against the Machine, STANE now performs a repertoire of more than fifteen original songs written for live performances.
After several years devoted to creating their musical world, STANE embarked on a new chapter in their history in 2025. The band is reinventing itself with the arrival of new musicians, a modernized visual identity, a new logo, and a strong determination to return to the stage to perform their original compositions.
This new lineup features Stéphane Péclard (vocals and guitar), Rolf Waeger (drums), Cosimo Manco (bass), and Teddy Huyghebaert (guitar). Together, they create a powerful and authentic sound that blends classic rock-inspired riffs, energetic grooves, and catchy melodies.

The murk prince ne veut pas vous plaire, iel veut vous séduire.Mariant l’énergie de Freddie Mercury et l’aptitude vocale de Jeff Buckley, The Murk Prince veux vous faire voyager au-delà du binaire. Iel s’est produit à l'international et ont reçu le prix de la « Meilleure chanson originale » pour leur premier single « Justice Eyes ».
The Murk Prince est le projet pop-rock d'Inès Murer.
Originaire de Belgique, The Murk Prince écrit en anglais et en français et explore des thèmes sociopolitiques tels que les droits LGBTQ+, l'antiracisme, le changement climatique et
l'identité trans. Son premier single, « Justice Eyes », a été
écrit en réaction aux manifestations Black Lives Matter du
printemps 2020 et a reçu un prix du Conseil culturel de
Lewisham, Londres.
Après avoir obtenu une licence en composition musicale au Trinity Laban Conservatoire (Royaume-Uni), Inès Murer s'est installée à Berlin et a enregistré son premier EP. Munich, janvier 1933. L’Allemagne bascule. Les cabarets bruissent d’effervescence artistique, ils sont un lieux de satire politique et d’expérimentation, d’ironie et de contestation. Mais l’arrivée de Adolf Hitler au pouvoir met fin à cette vitalité. Les cabarets sont fermés, les artistes surveillés. Le jazz, les musiques écrites par des compositeurs juifs, communistes ou « dégénérés » sont interdites par la loi.
Musiques interdites fait revivre cet héritage recréant l’atmosphère d’un cabaret de l’entre-deux-guerres, où l’humour, la poésie et la musique deviennent formes de résistance. Derrière la légèreté des chansons, affleure une époque de peur et répression.
Pour mener cette soirée, deux maîtresses de cérémonie à la verve mordante : Lucile Richardot et Éléonore Pancrazi. Elles redonnent voix à toute une génération d’artistes dont la créativité avait fait de la scène allemande des années 1920 un laboratoire d’une modernité exceptionnelle.
Faire entendre aujourd’hui ces musiques c’est rappeler la force subversive de l’art. Car lorsque la barbarie cherche à faire taire les voix, la scène devient un lieu de courage et de liberté.

À la fin du 19e siècle, Champel connaît un important essor grâce à ses établissements thermaux et à ses lieux de villégiature. C’est dans ce contexte que la Tour de Champel est édifiée en 1877. Dans le goût des fabriques (fausses ruines) que l’on retrouve dans les jardins à l’anglaise, elle a la particularité d’être bâtie avec des matériaux issus de «vraies» maisons médiévales de la Vieille-Ville.
Initialement conçue comme une attraction, elle constitue l’exemple le plus monumental connu de ce type de construction dans le canton de Genève. Fragilisée par le temps et les intempéries, elle a subi une lente dégradation qui l’a placée en situation de péril. Le chantier de restauration engagé au printemps 2025 permet aujourd’hui de redonner sa splendeur à cet édifice emblématique. Culminant à 17 mètres de hauteur, la Tour de Champel s’ouvre exceptionnellement au public et invite à découvrir les enjeux de la sauvegarde d’un patrimoine fragile.

Si les femmes ont largement contribué à façonner l’histoire de Genève, leurs réalisations et leurs parcours sont longtemps restés dans l’ombre des récits officiels. À l’image de Marie Dentière, figure majeure de la Réforme et première théologienne laïque, dont le nom demeure discret à proximité du Mur des Réformateurs, ou encore de Lina Stern, pionnière scientifique et première femme nommée professeure à l’Université de Genève.
À travers cette balade commentée autour du parc des Bastions, le voile sera levé sur ces destins remarquables afin de redonner une place visible à celles qui ont contribué à écrire l’histoire de la cité.

En résidence artistique, la photographe Laura Gauch a saisi la vie d’un territoire en pleine transformation, alors que les constructions avancent et que se redessinent les liens entre les Acacias d’aujourd’hui et ceux de demain.
Une cinquantaine de ses photographies sont présentées en plein air dans plusieurs rues, notamment rue Caroline et rue des Noirettes.
L’association topos accompagne les transformations des Acacias à travers des projets culturels ancrés dans le territoire et construits avec les habitant·es, les commerçant·es et les artisan·es.

**Alice Liberté** est une artiste fribourgeoise active dans le cinéma, la photographie et la musique. Elle s’auto-inscrit dans le « trope » des femmes trans qui produisent des sonorités parfois dures, toujours marquées par la vie des personnes trans et queer.
Entre chaleur amoureuse et récits de trucs vécus dans le corps. En récit de vie ou d’extrapolation de ressenties à travers la violence, le gore, le glauque mais aussi du beau, de l’amour, du léger, de la paix et surtout des chemins de traverse entre ces royaumes. What a joy to welcome our new national star, Swiss mezzo-soprano Marina Viotti alongside the charismatic American accompanist Todd Camburn! These two longtime collaborators (they also met at the HEMU in Lausanne and often perform together) will delight us with an exclusive program featuring two cornerstones of the repertoire: Wagner's _Wesendonck Lieder_ and Chausson's _Poème de l’amour et de la mer_.
After the intermission, three songs by Henri Duparc (_Chanson triste_, _La vague et la cloche_, _La vie antérieure_), three songs by Francis Poulenc (_Hôtel_, _Montparnasse_, _Les chemins de l’amour_), as well as one of his short Improvisations for solo piano (the 15th), followed by a song by Jacques Brel (_La chanson des vieux amants_) and one by Léo Ferré (_Avec le temps_), in an arrangement by Guy-François Leuenberger commissioned by us for this occasion.
The young musicologist Gregory Rauber will introduce this recital at 7:00 p.m. in the hall.

Et si l’on redécouvrait notre environnement à la manière de Jean-Jacques Rousseau ? Passionné de botanique, le philosophe consacrait une grande partie de son temps à parcourir la campagne et laisser ses pensées vagabonder au rythme de ses pas. Pour lui, la marche était bien plus qu’un déplacement : une manière de regarder le monde, de réfléchir et de s’émerveiller.
Cette promenade botanique vous invite à explorer les richesses végétales de Versoix en compagnie de deux spécialistes : l’une rousseauiste, l’autre botaniste. **RETSINA COLA « Rebetiko » (Greece)**
**Greek soul and oriental spices**
This young quartet presents the essence of rebetiko as it continues to thrive, more than a century after its emergence.
The rebetiko genre originated within the community of Greeks exiled from Asia Minor following the fall of the Ottoman Empire. As music knows no borders, these exiles brought back to their homeland instruments, rhythms and melodies from the eastern Mediterranean, which blended with the local music.
Rebetiko first took root in working-class neighbourhoods, before winning over the more affluent classes by the end of the Second World War. Its repertoire experienced a significant boom in the 1930s with the emergence of the ‘underground’ cabaret singer Róza Eskenázy (c.1890–1980), whose recordings made her the first major star of the Greek music scene.
The themes explored are reminiscent of those in tango and fado: thwarted love, relationships gone wrong, melancholy and nostalgia. There are also more social themes such as poverty, crime, drugs and the demands of the working class, which earned rebetiko a negative reputation among the bourgeoisie before it won over the entire population.
The members of **Retsina Cola** continue to keep this genre alive in cafés, tavernas and other venues across mainland Greece and the islands, where they take up residence for the summer season.
